UMEK is more than a DJ. He is an techno institution, normally touring the worlds biggest festivals and clubs. The man behind some of the most successful and popular tracks over the past decades.

With an unique sound that represents as a groovier, funkier, deeper and minimal side of melodic techno, peak time, house, deep tech and minimal he has become a well-known player in Estonian dance music scene. He is responsible for running the dance music series Portal Infinity and Vision. With releases out on world famous techno labels Phobiq recordings , Suro records, Ballroom and others he has cemented his place in Estonia´s underground music scene.
For me it's not just about the groove. A magical techno set has an otherworldly quality that is hard to describe. The music takes on a life of its own, with each beat and synth sound contributing to an ethereal, dreamlike atmosphere. It's as if the music has the power to transport you to another realm, where anything is possible
He combines and intervenes mystic sounds, vocal samples, trippy, deep, industrial, progressive and sometimes raw melodies to an unforgettable atmospheric and energetic mix.
