9/11 Memorial Remembrance Parade and Ceremony

September 11, 2001, was a day that we all said we will never forget. In Kosciusko County, we pledged to keep the memories of that terrible day alive with a commemorative service each year. This coming Friday, Sept. 11 will be our 25th ceremony, to which we invite all to join us at our permanent 9/11 Memorial in front of the Zimmer-Biomet Pavilion. This year we will also have a parade, starting at 6:30 p.m., traveling from Boggs Park along Center St. to Indiana St. and then to the Park. The ceremony will begin at approximately 7:15 p.m. Bring the family, bring friends and neighbors and join us. We are providing hotdogs, chips and water (all free!) and we have a great speaker, 9/11-related songs and remembrances.
Our theme is "Remembrance - Resilience - Service" as we recall the horrific loss of lives and destruction of that day, the recovery and strengthening of our country and the Spirit of Sept. 12, when we reached out to our families, neighbors and friends to provide help, to donate blood and funds for recovery.

Let's make it a huge parade, to show the world that Kosciusko County, Indiana, remembers September 11, 2001, and honors those who have lost their lives that day and since, and all who labored to rebuild our injured nation.
