🇺🇸 Join Gilbert's 9/11 Day of Service!
The National 9/11 Day of Service was created to "take back the day" by turning tragedy into an opportunity to serve others. As we also celebrate America's 250th anniversary, service is a meaningful way to honor both our nation's history and the spirit of unity that emerged on September 11.
Join our Gilbert interfaith community for a pancake breakfast at 7:30 a.m., followed by an aerial America 250 group photo, and then choose from a variety of service projects throughout the community. Opportunities include packing food and diapers, assembling nurse kits for local schools, painting a mural, gardening, creating encouraging cards, helping local nonprofits, and much more!
Whether you sign up in advance or at breakfast, there's a place for everyone to serve.
