8th IoO ECR Symposium 2025

Welcome to the 8th IoO ECR Symposium!

Location: UCL Darwin Building LT40, Bloomsbury Campus

Join us for a day of exciting discussions and presentations by early career researchers from UCL Institute of Ophthalmology. This symposium is a fantastic opportunity to network, learn from peers, and showcase your research. See you there!

All attendees must register by purchasing the “Registration” ticket before the 30th May.

If you would like to submit a poster or talk to showcase the work you are doing at the IoO, please register by selecting both the “Registration” and “Abstract Submission” tickets. It is mandatory to submit a 200 word abstract AND a 200 word lay abstract for both poster and oral presentations.

Abstract submission will close on the 21st April. If available, please submit your scientific and lay abstracts below. Alternatively, you can send it to [email protected] until the submission deadline.

After the abstract submission deadline, you will have until 21st May to send your poster PDF (A1 Portrait) to [email protected], for poster printing. We also ask that you submit a scientific image for the Best Image competitions by 21st May.

We will print all posters unless we received an unexpectedly high amount of submissions – in which case we will print on a first come first serve basis, so we encourage you to submit your posters as soon as possible! If you prefer, you are welcome to print your own poster and bring it on the day.
