Since 1841, Dhaka College has played a pivotal role in shaping up the landscape for education to thrive and strive in our beloved country. The impact of our grandiose institution is undeniable. To add to the glory of Dhaka College, a noteworthy role is played by a club. And that club is Dhaka College Science Club (DCSC). Being one of the oldest and biggest science fraternities to exist not only in our college but also at the institutional level, DCSC harbored many science enthusiasts and talented individuals. Our club mastered the art of turning whiz kids into great minds who later startled the world with their brilliance. We take awe and pride in our history and look forward to achieving greatness by each step we take and by each event we embellish.
It is an agonizing fact that for three years we have been going through a dystopian reality because of the coronavirus pandemic. The dire realities and consequences of COVID-19 do not need any introduction. On one side it ravaged lives, individuals, families and societies and on the other side, it withered out creative platforms, science and research events and opportunities for young prodigies to shine in their respective fields of excellence. Sure we witnessed online events to fill the void carved by lockdown and educational institutions shutting down. But they were nothing but mere emulations of "offline" physical events. None of the jubilation, passion, authenticity and endeavor can be derived from "online" events unlike the latter mentioned.
We, Dhaka College Science Club, are back again after a long time with our very own signature event. So buckle up aspirants, as we announce 8th DCSC National Science Exposition 2023. We aim to reinvigorate the beauty of science and knowledge in a brand new stage.
