Trek to the R.E.C. is back to the for its 8th year! This community sponsored event is a partnership with Leyden Township, Mannheim School District 83 and Leyden 212. In the past, we've had 881 participants made up of children, parents, teachers and community leaders take the streets of Leyden Township with their community! Streets are lined with over 100 student and teacher volunteers helped assist in making the it a smooth and enjoyable morning for all. Every dollar made from from this event gets divided between the Leyden Community Food Pantry 501(c)(3) and the schools PTA’s. Early Registration: $5 for students and adults, each participant receives a shirt until August 23rd.
