8th Annual TAC Skimblast - Skimboarding Contest in Santa Cruz

Welcome to the Eighth Annual TAC Skimblast presented by TAC Apparel Company. This year, the TAC Skimblast will take place as a one-day contest on Saturday, June 25th at Seabright Beach in Santa Cruz, CA.

As the largest skimboarding contest in northern California, the TAC Skimblast attracts some of the best professional skimboarders from all around the world. The Skimblast is one of only six stops on the United Skim Tour, the premier professional skimboarding contest circuit. Located just a short distance from downtown Santa Cruz, the Santa Cruz Boardwalk, & surf break Steamer Lane, the Skimblast is immersed in some of the most vibrant lifestyle and culture California has to offer.

The contest features divisions for amateur men, amateur women, professional men, professional women, and even the old guys. We’ve got spots for skimboarders of all ages and all abilities. We will also have a “best trick” contest on a completely retro round skimboard that’s open to any and all competitors. Find your division and sign up, or simply show up and watch for a good time.
