About this Event
Good news! The 2022 Smith Lake Concert Series is going to happen after all. We planned to skip the summer 2022 concert due to some personal life challenges with our close group of friends, but with a gentle nudge from Maggie Rose and Austin we decided the show can go on!
We normally plan at least 6 months in advance, so we are still working out the details but we wanted to get the ticket link up and running as soon as possible. Stay tuned for updates as we dial in the plan. We are working on catering or a food truck so purchase a dinner ticket as an add- on if you plan to eat here before the show.
This year we will be welcoming back Maggie Rose with her band and special guest, Ruthie Collins to open the show.
For those of you who were here in 2019, you know you are in for a treat! We have had many requests to bring back Maggie Rose. She is a Nashville based singer/songwriter who has dreamed up her own unbridled collision of rock-and-soul, funk and R&B. She is a force-of-nature vocalist and puts on one hell of a show. She is working on her fourth album and we may be lucky enough to get to be the first ones to hear some of her new songs live. Her live experiences include opening for Heart, Joan Jett , Kelly Clarkson and Jason Isbell. She has taken the stage at The Grand Ole Opry close to 100 times. We could go on forever about her professional resume, so check the link below to find out more. Maggie is warm, compassionate and inviting and there is no better setting to see her live because it is a rare chance to get to know her in an intimate setting amongst friends. We are lucky enough to call her our friend. She frequently visits Smith Lake and recently, she and her husband, Austin brought their parents. Smith Lake has become one of her favorite places and we could not love her more. I guarantee you will love her too!

Maggie has invited her friend, Ruthie Collins to open the show. We haven't had the pleasure of hearing Ruthie live yet. We are excited to welcome her and look forward to hearing her music live. Ruthie is a New York native singer/songwriter and recording artist who also lives in Nashville. Her songs straddle the line between Americana, Bluegrass and Modern Country, upheld by buoyant and agile vocals. Her music features some upright bass and traditional bluegrass instrumentation in a style that is both old-fashioned and completely modern.

Please purchase a dinner ticket if you would like to dine with other lake friends and neighbors prior to the concert. Plan to arrive early (5pm) to allow enough time for placing orders and food preparation. A dinner ticket includes water and/or soft drinks. BYOB for all other beverages of choice.
Thank you all for your friendship & support of our dream to bring incredibly talented artists to Smith Lake! What started as a small idea for family & friends has become a Smith Lake Community event. We are grateful to all who have supported the artists who play here and this event. We could not do this without you!

Please BYOB and bring your coolers. Soft drinks and water will be provided. Stools, cushions and chairs will be set up so there is no need to bring chairs unless you want to guarantee you will have a seat with a general admission ticket. There are only a few areas with room to set up your own chair so come early.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Once you purchase tickets, we will have your name and your number of guests on a list at the sign-in table. It is helpful to bring your tickets but not necessary. If you purchase a dinner ticket, we will be giving you a food token upon check in for dinner. Dinner will be served from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm.
