The 8th Annual Rescue Ball, hosted by Almost Home Charities to benefit both BARC Humane Society and the Humane Society Valdosta-Lowndes, will be held on October 2nd in the VSU Ballroom. Emceed by Black Crow Radio Personality Sara Sumner, this gala event includes dinner, live music by The Remedy, a reverse drawing ($2,500, $1,500, $1,000 final draw prizes!), Steel's Jewelry drawing, silent auction, and a performance by VSU Modern Dance students.
