All-day Mardi Gras Celebration!Gumbo and Crawfish Broil @ 1pm
Tiny Float Parade w/ GUFA Brass Band @ 4pm
Parade details:
The parade kicks off at 4 pm sharp and will likely last about 20 whole minutes, so even with a couple beers before and after, your time commitment is minimal. All you need to do is gather a few folks in your crew and create a quick, tiny “float”!
Floats are cake, have fun, and keep it small. I think by now you all know the rules, but just in case:
Rules:
1. Your float needs to be tiny (under 3 x 6 ft). The size of your standard Radio Flyer wagon is just perfect. Maybe a sled, or a wheelbarrow, or something you have around your house or brewery with wheels.
2. Your float may have whatever theme you choose, or none at all.
3. Your crew may include as many or as few people as you like.
4. This parade will roll rain, snow, or shine. We will roll even if we are all alone.
1st Place: Receives a sweet-ass trophy and $100 donation to a charity of your choice!
2nd Place: $50 donation to a charity of your choice!
3rd Place and beyond: $25 donation to a charity of your choice
