About this Event

Cheers - it's finally here! Join us for our 8th Annual Berwyn Brewfest! If you love sampling tasty beer, gather your friends and come have a good time at one of the only outdoor craft beer festivals in town! This annual event is a celebration of craft beer and the awesome people that enjoy it. Featuring an exceptional selection from local & regional craft breweries as well as delicious vendor cuisine, and local entertainment.

Tickets will be sold for four hours of beer tastings, or score VIP tickets for an additional hour of suds and swag! (VIP Tickets will be sold only while supplies last (120)). Attendees must be 21 and over to enter the festival).

Tickets include entry to the fest, access to food vendors, music and merch vendors, as well as a variety of 3oz pours with your own commemorative glass. This highly anticipated fall event features dozens of exclusive craft brews for you to enjoy.(craft beer, hard cider, seltzers, gluten free options and more).

We're Adding a Twist for 2022: Vote for your favorite craft beer(s) as we grant the new and coveted Berwyn Brewfest Awards to the top voted recipients! (Best Taste for Fall, Finest Lager, Top Ale or Stout, etc.)

***This is an age 21+ event, and applies for drinkers and non-drinkers alike. No one under the age of 21 will be allowed entrance, including designated drivers. If you are drinking even from another's glass, you will be charged the full on-site ticket price.

Beer tickets/punch cards are like cash. Please hold on to them tightly or purchase a lanyard. Lost punch cards will require you to purchase another punch card for $25.00 with proof of original purchase.

FAQ:

Where is Proksa Park located?

Proksa Park is a forested 10-acre public park nestled right in the heart of Berwyn. You can enter by car and park using street parking or walk from your home as it is a well-known neighborhood park. Follow the signs when you enter. View map for exact location.

Is this an adult only event?

This is a 21+ event. No one under the age of 21 will be allowed entrance in the festival. This includes designated drivers who must also be at least 21 years of age. NO children, toddlers, infants, strollers, or pets are permitted. No one will be admitted without a valid photo ID (no exceptions). Proper identification is the responsibility of the attendee. Arriving at the Brewfest with children, infants, and/or pets will result in forfeiture of tickets and be considered a donation. Failure to present proper, valid photo identification (driver’s license or passport) will result in denial of entry with no refund offered.

Can I bring my pet?

We love pets but unfortunately, they are not allowed at the festival. Attendees who arrive with a pet will be turned away, regardless of purchase. No refunds will be given in this circumstance.

Can I bring my own beer?

No. Outside food or drinks are not allowed inside the festival, including bottled water. Once inside the festival, water will be provided for drinking and/or rinsing your glass.

Can I bring my own chair?

Yes. There will be picnic tables for seating, but if you are particularly attached to your chair, you can bring it to the festival.

Will there be food available?

Yes, some of Berwyn’s favorite restaurants and food vendors will be in attendance. Please bring extra money to support local favorites.

What if it rains?

The Berwyn Brew Fest is a rain or shine event. Please dress for the weather and be prepared to drink in all kinds of weather. We can have fun rain or shine!

What are my transportation options/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Driving, biking, public transportation or a rideshare service are all available to transport you to and from the 2022 Berwyn Brewfest.

Parking: Free parking is available along the perimeter of the park, as well as surrounding streets. Although parking is available, we encourage walking to our festival if you live nearby!

Biking: Proksa Park is accessible via bicycle. Bike racks will be provided at no cost to you!

Public Transportation: Proksa Park is accessible via the 302, 307 and 311 bus routes.

Rideshare service: Ask them to enter at 3001 S. Wisconsin Avenue, Berwyn, and follow the signs!

Why are there drink tickets?

This is a regulatory measure to keep in compliance with Illinois liquor laws. Berwyn Brew Fest ticket holders will receive a punch card valid for fifteen (15) 3-ounce pours for General Admission and twenty (20) 3-ounce pours for VIP Pass holders.

What can I bring to this event?

Picnic chairs, blankets, sun umbrellas, and friends!

What should I bring to the event?

Reusable water bottle, sunscreen, bug spray, a hat, clothing layers.

What is not allowed?

No pets of any kind, strollers, your own personal glass, firearms or weapons of any kind. No outside beer, beer-sharing or bottle-sharing allowed. Disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to ask you to leave the event if you exhibit flagrant behavior.

What is the refund policy?

All sales as final. This event will take place rain or shine unless there is lightning. If this event is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control, your ticket price will be considered a donation to the Berwyn Park District.

Will tickets be sold "at the door"?

This event is predicted to sell out. There will be no tickets sold onsite. All ticket sales must be completed using a mobile device and/or computer through Eventbrite. Tickets purchased after midnight, October 7, 2022, will be considered day of General Admission tickets, at a price of $55.00. While supplies last. No guarantee.
