89th Scout Christmas Post in Caversham

The 89th Reading Scouts are once again providing the highly valued Christmas Post service for the delivery of Christmas Cards to the whole of Caversham and Emmer Green. They have been running this service for over 40 years this year they are hoping to raise money for a new workshop for “Branching Up” a service which provides work experience placements for adults with learning disabilities.

This is a great opportunity to save money – at just 40p per card – and your Christmas cards will be expertly delivered by Caversham Beavers Cubs Scouts and Explorers.

You can post your cards (cash only please) from Saturday 29th November until Thursday 19th December and your cards will be delivered over the weekend of 21st and 22nd December.

The Scout postboxes are at these locations across Caversham:

Caversham library Budgens in Emmer Green Woodcote Way Stores in Caversham Heights Henley Road Co-op Balmore Park Drs surgery Emmer Green Drs surgery and at St Andrew’s St Barnabus St John’s St Peter’s churches and the Methodist churches on Highmoor Road and Gosbrook Road.

The Scouts deliver cards across Caversham but please bear in mind that they are unable to deliver south of the river or to Kidmore End Tokers Green or Sonning Common.
