Leslie Dala is an acclaimed conductor and pianist known for his versatility and artistry across opera, symphonic, choral, and contemporary repertoire. As Associate Conductor and Chorus Director at Vancouver Opera, he has led celebrated productions including The Magic Flute, The Barber of Seville, and Dead Man Walking. Currently conducting Vancouver Opera’s production of Flight, Dala brings his thoughtful interpretations and technical brilliance to every performance. Renowned for his work nationally and internationally, he is also a passionate advocate for contemporary music, breathing life into Glass’s minimalist masterpieces with sensitivity and precision, inspiring audiences with his dynamic and innovative approach.
