Hosted by The Des Moines Coin Club. Free admission and parking. Coin and currency dealers from around the Midwest will be on hand to buy - sell and trade rare coins, currency, tokens and more! Come early! The 1st 100 adult attendees will receive a free 2004 encased Iowa quarter in a commemorative Central States Convention ANACS certified holder.
ANACS will be set up to take submissions for coins for certification. Quentin will be offering a show special of 10 certifications for only $140.
This show is a great family event with free kids' tables with coins and coin collecting supplies. This years' kids' tables are sponsored by Christopher's Rare Coins in Johnston, Iowa. Christopher's is proud to sponsor the next generation of coin collectors. There will be adults on hand to assist new collectors get started on their collecting journey.
Free seminar at 1 on Saturday with guest speaker George Cuhaj curator of the Higgin's Museum in Spirit Lake, Iowa. George will have a fascinating power point presentation showing some of the amazing currency in the museum which is one of Iowa's great treasures.
Special exhibit of rare World's Fair items dating back to 1872 and featuring many Iowa items.
