826LA@Hammer: How to Write a Movie!
Ever wondered how movies get written? In this workshop, students will invent characters, create a problem, and write a short movie scene together. Working in small groups, they’ll learn simple screenplay format and then watch actors perform the words they wrote. By the end of the session, every group will have helped create a story and see it come to life on stage.
Led by screenwriter Thomas Heegaard who writes for film and television and helps develop stories from script to production.
