826 Valencia Community Open Mic Night

You're invited! Whether you’re an author, poet, performer, or simply love a good story, this is a warm, family-friendly opportunity to celebrate our community voices and creativity.

Shop at the Pirate Supply Store, connect with fellow writers, and learn more about volunteering with 826 Valencia. Doors open at 6:30 pm and the open mic will start at 7 pm. Sign up to perform when you arrive! 🎃

We're thrilled to welcome Paolo Bicchieri, a Bay Area writer and journalist, as our featured author for the evening! Paolo will be sharing work from their newest book, Sword in the Darkness, which will be available at the event.

About Paolo:

Paolo Bicchieri's poetry has appeared in Ghost City Press, Animal Heart Press, and Honey Literary. A Fullbright Award recipient and journalist at Eater, they're the author of multiple poetry and fiction collections and co-host of San Francisco's Kitchen Table series.

This is a free event, but guests can make a suggested $10 donation upon entry. All donations will benefit 826 Valencia.
