80s Night - The Aquanets Live Debut, Alex English and Dimitri M

In the summer of 2024, four friends united by their love of music and the sounds of the 1980s formed THE AQUANETS. What began as an outlet to play together and push themselves musically has grown into a dedicated project: an ’80s cover band that balances nostalgia and fun with discipline, practice, and musicianship.

The lineup reflects both versatility and growth. Dennis made the leap from bass to guitar, while Connie expanded from DJing and bass into the world of synthesizers. Rachel (bass) and Matt (drums) anchor the band with a tight rhythm section, and all four members share vocal duties.

Though their busy lives allow them to meet only once a month, rehearsals are focused, collaborative, and fueled by the joy of rediscovering the music that defined their youth and a generation. Their setlist spans some of the decade’s most iconic songs—delivered with joyful energy and a deep respect for the originals, creating a joyful and satisfying experience for all.
