Directed by Paul Treasure, "8 Women" is a French mystery play about eight women who are suspects in the murder of a wealthy industrialist.
On a snowy morning, the industrialist Marcel is found stabbed to death in his room. The house is isolated in a snowstorm, the phone is dead, and the car has been damaged. The eight women in his life are all suspects: his wife, daughters, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, sister, cook, and maid.
The women's secrets are revealed as they try to determine who is guilty.
This is the WA premiere of an international award-winning play by French writer, Robert Thomas, with translation by Celine Oudin.
The production will be staged at The Old Mill Theatre in South Perth.
