About the Comedians
Steve Burr

Steve Burr grew up in Rochester, NY and got his start in stand-up comedy by placing 3rd in the 1994 "Funniest Person in Rochester Contest". He has since gone on to make appearances on “Comics Unleashed”, “Live at Gotham” and “The Bob and Tom Show” while becoming a favorite at comedy clubs and college campuses across the United States and Canada. He also makes regular trips overseas to entertain US troops stationed in places such as Iraq, Kuwait, Afghanistan, Italy & Germany and is one of Carnival Cruise Line’s top comics!

In addition to his stand-up career Steve has been the host of two podcasts, “3 Things You Never Talk About” and "The Threesome Show”, has traveled the country as the face of the webisode series, "Odd America" and is also the creator, producer and MCof an annual fund-raising event in his hometown called "Comics Against Cancer". Realizing that when people go to a comedy show they are there for one reason...to laugh, Steve very naturally gets them to do just that. Combining great story telling, everyday observations, interaction with the audience and the simple desire to have fun, he brings the complete comedy package to the stage. Steve likes to give everyone a night away from it all and uses his personal brand of hilarity to do just that. He always seems to be having the best time on stage and with his silly antics you can't help but like him. So if you're looking for some good, clean fun, something a little different than anything you've experienced before, spend some time with Steve Burr and let the roller coaster ride begin.

Leslie Norris Townsend

Leslie Norris Townsend is a fun, high-energy comedienne and keynote speaker. This former Beauty Queen offers audiences of every size and personality an intriguing look at marriage, motherhood and trying to balance it all while maintaining your sanity!

As seen on 30+ television appearances including: Comedy Central, A&E’s An Evening at the Improv, and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Leslie Norris Townsend is a fun, high-energy comedienne and keynote speaker. This former Beauty Queen offers audiences of every size and personality an intriguing look at marriage, motherhood and trying to balance it all while maintaining your sanity!

Despite a troubling childhood that saw the loss of both parents, Leslie found a will to succeed. She was first runner-up in both Miss Georgia and Miss Florida — but won the talent competition both times. Her skills landed her at Walt Disney World as an actress, singer and comedienne. Soon Hollywood called and she found herself performing on stage and screen next to the likes of Robin Williams and Bryan Cranston.

Despite her blossoming acting career, Leslie left it all behind to create a better life for her children. In a classic fish-out-of-water tale, she moved from Hollywood to rural Ohio to live and work on her family's 100-year-old farm. This only added new material to her already hilarious routines. Besides being a proud mother, Leslie is also a successful businesswoman. She co-owns Townsend Productions, a 15,000 square foot recording facility in Celina, OH. She brings the same skills to business that has served her so well in life: letting go of ego, making the best of any situation, and good, old-fashioned hard work.

Happy Cole

Happy Cole began his stand-up career in Tampa, Florida. His high-energy delivery and fast-paced humor have long made him a favorite at comedy clubs, colleges, corporate events and on cruise ships.

Cole got a big break when he was invited to perform at the Montreal International Comedy Festival “Just for Laughs”, now considered the biggest, most prestigious comedy festival in the world. His appearances there were so triumphant and stellar that the Montreal Gazette cited Happy as one of the “standouts in the best jokefest ever.”

Moreover, his success at the Festival drew the attention of all kinds of major figures in the entertainment industry, including the producers of “Black is…” an award-winning CBC documentary series. This led to appearances on such U.S. television shows at NBC’s Friday Night Lights and the nationally syndicated “Showtime at the Apollo.” It also led to an invitation to perform at the Murphy’s Cat Laugh Festival in Kilkenny, Ireland hosted by Bill Murray.

Among Happy’s other television credits are the ACE Award-winning, Caroline’s Comedy Hour, Comic Strip Live, Evening at the Improv, and Comedy on the Road. In addition to these and other stand-up programs, he has also accumulated TV credits as an actor, including a recurring role on Nickelodeon’s, Clarissa Explains it All and Fox’s Sea Quest. He has completed work on a pilot for Big Ticket Television and the UPN Network called, “Momz Home.” Cole was cast as the lead in two independent films, The Horizon Bleeds, and Harmony’s Run.

Happy Cole headlines over 300 live dates a year and has been featured in concert with acts ranging from Sinbad and Jim Carrey to The Temptations and Julio Iglesias. Happy has appeared at the HBO USCAF Comedy Festival and was nominated for the Best Stand-Up Award. His talent is in high demand for all the major cruiselines in the world.
