About this Event

ABOUT THE PRESENTATION

Our August 7th presenter in the series is Jeff Campbell. The title of the presentation is: Sharing Our Personal Journeys: Discovering Our Commonalities Beyond Psychedelics.

Jeff Campbell has been creating compelling performance art in the Denver area and beyond for over 30 years, while always leveraging his platform as an artist for social commentary and civic engagement, as a direct service provider and as a grassroots organizer.

From touring Hip Hop artist and poet, to writing, and producing his own stageplays, Jeff has been an influence to the creative landscape of Denver across genres and mediums. He has inspired artists to follow his lead in becoming instructors throughout Colorado school districts, and has spearheaded advocacy campaigns utilizing art as a means to address police brutality and the mistreatment of people experiencing homelessness.

Campbell is currently working on his latest work, uncovering the hidden history of Colorado and its role in the Black American West. Visit www.emancipationtheater.com for more of Jeff's work.

is designed to provide educational material and community input to psychedelic policy makers in Colorado and elsewhere, incluing Denver's Psilocybin Mushroom Policy Review Panel, and the 15-member Natural Medicine Advisory Board and its working groups created by the passage of the Natural Medicine Health Act (Proposition 122) in November 2022.
