Following a year of long-awaited anticipation, the time of adventure has circled back. After the 6th edition of the biggest adventure festival of our country achieved unparalleled success and established a new benchmark of excellence, the awaited event unfolds its grand return. Notre Dame Outward Bound Adventure Club (OBAC) is full of beans to organize the 7th edition of the National Adventure Festival (NAF), promising nostalgia, excitement, adventure, enchanting moments and memories that will transcend the sand of time. 1. Junior : class 6-8

Rules and regulations:
1. Game instructions will be demonstrated on the spot.
2. Participants must be present 15 minutes before the start time in their allocated room.
3. Necessary information will be provided by the organizers. Please bring your writing materials.
4. Mobile phone usage is strictly prohibited from 5 minutes before the event until its conclusion.
5. Participants found cheating may be quietly expelled by the organizers.
6. In case of a tie, the participant who submitted their entry first will be counted as a winner.
7. The decision of the authority will be the final decision.
Prize Details:
1. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd placed participants from each category will receive a Certificate of Excellence and a Crest.
2. All the participants will receive a Certificate of Participation.
Hidden Object Quest
Often the objects right in front of our eyes are the trickiest to find . With that in mind we have come up with an event which will test your eye sight , concentration and perception. Put your brain and eyesight to the challenge and spot the hidden objects as quickly as you can.
Category:
1. Junior: Class 6-8
2. Senior: Class 9-12
Rules and regulations:
1. This is an investigative indoor event where the participant has to find out and point out hidden objects in a piece of paper.
2. The participants will be provided with a tricky and busy image with lots of objects in it.
3. The participant has to identify and circle certain objects from the image which will be shown in a separate box .
4. The participant who will be able to identify all the objects correctly in the least amount of time will be crowned the winner . The participants with the second and the third lowest times will be crowned second and third respectively.
5. Necessary items will be provided by the authority, but the participants are requested to bring their own pencil, pen etc. but mobile phones are not allowed during the contest.
6. If any participant is caught adopting unfair means, then the authority might expel him/her silently.
Prize Details:
1. 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed participants from each category will receive a Certificate of Excellence and a Crest.
2. All the participants will receive a Certificate of Participation.
CROSSWORD CIPHER
We are all accustomed to solving traditional crosswords. But what if we brought a little twist to this familiar game? With that in mind, we are reintroducing the spectacular game " Crossword Cipher."
Words have the power to heal, inspire, create, and destroy. But in this game, words have the power to make you victorious. In this unique game of clues, words and numbers, you can test your decoding ability and sharp wit by outperforming your fellow participants. So, what are you waiting for? Let's make every letter count!

Rules and regulations:
1. The rules of playing this game will be demonstrated on the spot.
2. Participants have to report before 15 minutes of starting time.
3. Essential particulars will be provided by the authority. Participants are requested to bring their pencils, pens, etc.
4. Using the phone is completely forbidden from 5 minutes before the event to the end of the event.
5. If any participant is caught adopting unfair means, then the authority might expel him/her silently.
6. If two or more participants get the same point. The prize will be awarded based on who submitted the paper quickly.
7. The authority's decision will be the final decision.

Put yourself through the test by identifying these wondrous city's, stunning landmarks and breathtaking natural beauties in our vintage event "Pinpoint on map."
Category:

Rules and Regulations:
1. The participants will be shown a picture (city, historic place, natural beauties or other location) which will direct them to a place (city, historical place or a place of natural beauties) that they have pin on the map within a certain time limit.
2. This is a point-based event and so higher accuracy will result in higher points.
3. Participants will not be allowed to use a mobile phone during the event.
4. Necessary items will be provided by the authority.
5.If two or more participants get the same point, the prize will be awarded based on who submitted the paper most quickly.

Obstacle Ground

Navigate a course brimming with diverse challenges that demand agility, strength, and balance. To conquer this adrenaline-fueled journey, you'll need peak physical fitness and coordination skills. Master the art of climbing, jumping, crawling, and maintaining unstoppable momentum through an array of obstacles. But it's not just about raw strength; mental resilience and laser-sharp focus are your allies.

Event Details:
1. Participants have to finish the obstacle ground in the least amount of time to win the prize.
2. It is an individual event.
Rules and regulations:
*The event will be conducted on a hard surface.
*Participants will not be allowed to play barefooted.
*Participants are not allowed to step on the grounds and certain parts of obstacles.
*Other rules will be briefed to each participant before the event starts.

Lensation
Photography is a divine art form that captures our inner notions through still portrayals. A photo can express what a thousand words can't. A photograph can have different meanings based on our mindset, our perspective, our ideology, our interpretation. A photo can simplify a complex and intricate subject. Alternatively, a photo can express a simple and obvious concept in a much more nuanced way. If you want to exhibit your artistic abilities through this rich medium, our prominent event " Lensation" might just be perfect for you.

Rules and Regulations :
1. One participant can submit a maximum number of 5 photos.
2. Images collected from the internet or copyrighted (by somebody other than the entrant) cannot be submitted.
3. The original images should be at least 3 MB in size as selected images will be printed and exhibited. But not more than 8 MB in size.
4. The Height of the Photo must be at least 3000 pixels (applicable for only Category A).
5. Only JPG or JPEG versions of the photos are acceptable.
6. Any kind of Border or Watermarks are not acceptable.
7. B/W photos are acceptable too.
8. Submission procedure and the deadline for submission will be provided later on.
Judging Criteria :
We will be accompanied by some high-profile Photographers who have taken the travel photography genre to a different level in our country. All the details about the judges will be posted very soon.
Your photograph will be judged on :

Prize Details :
1. For each category, winners (First, Second and Third) will get a crest and certificate of excellence and frame.

TIC TAC TOE
Tic Tac Toe is a classic game that we all have played once in our life. Though it is a simple game, the outdoor version can be very exciting and challenging. The game will not be played with pen and paper. This is a game that will test your physical as well as mental skills. You have to run, tag, and place cones of different colors to win the game. The coordination and cooperation among the players of the team will be key factor.
Category:
1. Boys: (class 6-12)
2. Girls: (class 6-12)
Rules and Regulations:
1. Each team consists of 3 players (Cross-institution is allowed) and the players have to line up behind a starting line before the game begins.
2. A large square containing 9 smaller squares will be placed a certain distance away from the starting line.
3. The cones of different colors will be placed on both sides of the large square.
4. The goal is to make a line of three symbols of the same kind, either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
5. When the signal is given, the first player of each team has to run towards the square and place a cone of their teamβs color in any of the smaller squares.
6. Then they have to run back to the starting line and tag the next player of their team.
7. The next player has to repeat the same process until one team makes a line of three cones of the same color.
8. The team that does it first wins the game.
N.B:
You cannot move or remove any cone that has been placed by the opposition or by your teammates.
Make sure you have placed your cone in a particular square, not on the line.
There will be separate categories for boys and girls for this thrilling game. So, get ready to show your speed, agility, and intelligence, contestants!
Prize Details:
1. The top 2 teams from each category will receive a Certificate of Excellence and a Crest.
2. All the participants will receive a certificate of participation.

Combined (Junior+ Senior)
Rules:
1. Each team consists of 3 players (Cross-institution is allowed)
2. Participants will receive a template featuring specific objects scattered across the college campus, which they must locate and photograph.
3. Teams must collaborate within a designated time frame to find as many items as listed in the template.
4. At the end of the allotted time, teams must return with photographs of the objects from the template and demonstrate their completion by marking off the found objects.
5. The team that discovers all/most items in the shortest time within the time limit will emerge victorious.
Prize details:
1. Certificate of Excellence and Crests for the top 3 teams.
2. Every participant will receive a Certificate of Participation.
Wall Magazine
One of the highlights of the 7th National Adventure Festival is the WALL MAGAZINE competition, where students have the opportunity to showcase their creativity and knowledge on one of three exciting topics. Participants will form teams and create a captivating wall magazine on any one of the three topics:
1."Adventure and our Environment,"
2. "Enigmatic Places in Bangladesh,"
3."Adventurers to Conquerors."
To ensure a smooth and organized event,
registration is required. This will allow us to manage participant numbers effectively and provide everyone with a fair chance to participate. Whether you're an avid adventurer or simply curious about exploring new horizons, this event is open to all individuals who are eager to embrace challenges, discover hidden gems, and celebrate the spirit of adventure.
Rules and Regulations:
1. Each team will consist of maximum three members.
2.Participants will bring their completed wall magazines and the magazines must be free of any inappropriate message or content, or else, the authority can eliminate the participant in no time.
3.Participants should be present at Notre Dame College premises on Day-01 at 9.00 AM, or else the registration will be terminated.
Prize details:
Certificate of Excellence and Crest for top three teams and certificate of participation for every participant.

Pacman
Pacman is an event of navigating through a maze filled with treasures and ghosts.
Pacman is a decade-old arcade game that has captured the hearts of millions of people across the globe. Now, Notre Dame Outward Bound Adventure Club is presenting the outdoor and realistic version of this amazing game. Similar to the original version, participants must find their way through a crazy real-life maze while simultaneously collecting certain objects and avoiding malevolent ghosts. So, prepare yourself to be a part of this magnificent new journey of discovering the realms of uncertainty.
Rules and regulations:
1. Participants have to roam across a maze for a limited time.
2. While roaming, they have to collect certain objects that will be scattered around the maze.
3. Two ghosts will also be roaming in the maze to hamper the participants' progression. Getting touched by them will result in defeat or elimination.
4. Certain power-ups will also be present in the maze. By collecting those power-ups, participants can touch and eliminate those ghosts for a limited period of time.
5. The participant who collects all of the scattered objects in the shortest time shall be declared the winner.

FUTSAL
As a sport, football needs no introduction. Futsal is just the mini version of football with a few tweaks. In fact, it is more intense and fast-paced than its counterpart. In recent years, this game has become one of the most popular sports among the youth in both national and international context. After much anticipation, Notre Dame Outward Bound Adventure Club adds back βFutsalβ to the 7th season of the National Adventure Festival. So footy lovers, what are you waiting for? Unleash your techniques and creativity where it matters the most!
Event type: Institution Based
Participating Group:
Boys from class 8 to HSC Batch-24 (If the institution has a college section they will be considered as one team).
N.B: Students of Notre Dame College are not eligible to participate.
Tournament Format:
β’ 6 A-Side Match
β’ 12 teams
β’ Group Stage (4 Groups consisting of 3 teams in each group)
β’ Quarter Final (Top 2 teams from each group will qualify for the Quarters)
β’ Semi Final
β’ Final
Note:
Since the number of teams is limited, the authority will select the teams through registration.
Team Structure:
10 man squad (All the players have to be from the same institution)
Match Duration:
β’ Group Stage: 16 minutes (8 mins each half)
β’ Quarter Final: 20 minutes (10 mins each half)
β’ Semi Final: 24 minutes (12 mins each half)
β’ Final: 30 minutes (15 mins each half))
β’ Additional time will be added according to the situation of the game.
Rules & Regulations:
β’ Rolling substitution is allowed.
β’ No offside rules will be applied.
β’ Barefoot is not allowed. Both Boots and Turfs are allowed.
β’ If any 2 teams have the same number of points, to qualify GOAL DIFFERENCE between the two teams will be the foremost priority. And if their points still end up in a tie then HEAD TO HEAD RESULT will be counted. If their Head to Head game was a tie as well, an instant tie-breaker penalty will take place. (3 shootouts each team)
β’ After 3 penalties the tie-breaker will go to sudden death.
β’ Player(s) shown RED cards [in different matches] will be suspended for ongoing and the next match as well.
β’ Both the teams will get different colored aprons so that they can be distinguished during the match.
β’ A player cannot play in more than one team.
β’ Teams must report 15 minutes before their match.
β’ There will be a BFF (Bangladesh Football Federation) certified official referee to conduct the game and on the pitch refereeβs call will be considered as the final decision.
β’ No misconduct, slagging, sledding, or bad behavior will be tolerated.
β’ If the Quarter Finals, Semi Finals & Final match result ends up in a tie the game will go to the penalty shootouts directly.
β’ Besides these, all the basic FIFA rules will be followed throughout the event.
β’ Aprons will be provided to one of the two playing teams.
Prize Pool:
β’ Winners will get prize money, Grand Trophy, Medals and Certificates of Excellence.
β’ Runners up will get prize money, Grand Trophy, Medals and Certificates of Excellence.
β’ There will be individual awards.
β’ Certificate of Participation for all the participants.
