"7th Annual White Cane Awareness Walk & Celebration".Event details:
- Date & Time: Saturday, October 11, 11 AM to 2 PM
- Location: 5151 Pacific Ave., Stockton, CA 95207 (Northwest corner of Pacific Ave. & Yokuts Ave., near driveway of Delta College)
Schedule:
11 AM-12 PM: Info booths and sensory activities, including a "White Cane Wander" blindfolded navigation experience.
Drop off your donations of unwanted eyeglasses, hearing aids and pull tabs for the Lions Clubs to recycle and help others in need!
12 PM to 12:30 PM: Join us for a special White Cane Awareness Day Ceremony.
12:30 PM to 1 PM: Group walk from Delta College to Mountain Mike’s Pizza.
1 PM to 2 PM: Stay on to support San Joaquin County Chapter National Federation of the Blind’s (NFB’s) fundraiser at Mountain Mike’s Pizza, 1000 W. Robinhood Dr., Stockton. NFB Fundraiser goes on all day 9:30 AM to 9:30 PM. please mention the “NFB” fundraiser or show our flyer October 11!
