Whether it's a long standing tradition or a first time experience, The Short & Suite Nutcracker will delight guests of all ages with the sweetness of the season. From the moment you step into the festive lobby, magic & memories abound! Voted Wichita's Best Annual Event in 2021, 2022 and 2023, Midwest Dance Mechanix' abbreviated production of The Nutcracker is a holiday "must do" family event.
The Short & Suite Nutcracker is more than just a performance... it's an interactive holiday experience that families of all ages will enjoy. Featuring the classical holiday ballet, abbreviated in length, combined with a variety of memory making opportunities, this event will on of the highlights of the holiday season.

PERFORMANCE DETAILS
CHOREOGRAPHY:
Featuring the breathtaking Snow Scene choreography of local Ballet legend, STAN ROGERS, as well as whimsical original choreography by JANA OWEN, this Nutcracker production may be abbreviated in length, but is certainly not short on quality, professionalism and pure holiday magic!
PERFORMANCE RUNNING TIME:
Running time is approximately 75 minutes, including a short intermission. The performance includes voiced narration during the interludes to enhance the story telling for young audiences.
ABOUT THE COMPANY:
This 7th annual Short & Suite Nutcracker features dancers ranging in age from 6 through 18 who are members of Midwest Dance Mechanix' two speciality performance companies. It will also feature several special Guest Artists in featured roles from the Louisville Ballet.
