7th Annual Dancing My Way to Wellness Line Dance-a-thon

Welcome to the 7th Annual Dancing My Way to Wellness Line Dance-a-thon! We plan on having a great time and making our seventh year the best ever!!!

Twelve (yes, you read it right) 12 hours of line dancing this year with brief instructionals throughout (MOSTLY R&B, Soul, Gospel, Jazz, Zydeco, and even a little Country)! You don't have to stay (or dance) the entire time. You will have a wristband so you can come, leave, and come back. Just come out and join in the fun! Note that the location has been changed from last year's but it's only 10 minutes from that one; this year's fun-filled event will be at Devonshire Hall, and it's behind the Crosspoint Federal Credit Union on Sanford Street. Balloons will mark the spot!

VERY lite refreshments, and dinner will be offered but you are welcome to bring your own food and beverages.

Health awareness info advocates will be available to promote/provide resources, and educate... There will also be sales vendors...

Tickets on sale May 1st. CashApp, Paypal, Venmo, and cash are the preferred (and fee-free) options, but you can purchase through Eventbrite as well.

EARLY BIRD SPECIAL: $30.00 until July 31st and entry into the early bird raffle.

$40.00 after July 31st

GROUPS: At least 10 or more persons, and MUST be purchased together. EARLY BIRD group price - tickets are $25/pp . ON/AFTER August 1st, tickets are $35/pp.

FAQs

Why is online ticket price a little more?

Online ticket price includes processing fee. However, we do have paper tickets available for sale so that you can purchase without incurring the processing fee. (Some of the instructors, including some out of state, will have paper tickets for purchase as well.) Also, it's certainly easier to just purchase through cashapp or paypal, with no extra fees.

What does the ticket price include?

Ticket price includes entry, refreshments throughout the day, dinner, raffles.

There are several in Hamden, New Haven, and West Haven within a 5 mile radius and with different price ranges/amenities.

What are my parking options?

Parking is free.

What can/can't I bring into the event?

You are welcome to bring your own food and beverages; only VERY lite refreshments and dinner will be offered.

We are NOT allowed to have confetti on the premises, just in case you intend to celebrate any special occasions, i.e. birthdays, anniversaries.

What's the refund policy?

No refunds.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes; however, we definitely will have a list of all attendees at the door if you forget to bring it, or purchased through Paypal , Cashapp, Venmo.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Yes, but PLEASE let us know in advance!
