Memorial Golf Outing & BBQ Lunch in honor of Mike Zurenski 'Coach Z'
Saturday, August 30th, 2025 9:00 AM shotgun start at Mt. Odin Golf Course, Greensburg, PA. BBQ provided by Eat My Pork will start roughly 1:30 PM. Online registration/pay option this year at CoachZFoundationGolfOuting.com! Even if only want to participate in lunch & raffles only!
This memorial will be used to help several others in the local hockey community. Some of the ways are by helping local youth players attend summer hockey camps and provide equipment to youth players. We will also provide assistance in any other ways we can in the local hockey community in Coach Z’s honor.
Please join us in helping raise money for a cause that will help continue bringing happiness and inspiration to others in the hockey community for years to come.

A little bit of History of Coach Z and the Foundation....
Coach Z was a truly incredible individual who left a remarkable impact by continuously demonstrating loyalty, friendship, compassion, and positivity to everyone he ever met. He left a remarkable impact on everyone he met. Sometimes you don’t notice how much of an impact someone has had on you, family members, friends, co-workers, and others until they are gone. He taught us how important it is to embrace each day and that it is not only about reaching our goals but to look for how we would could make someone’s life better today, just as he did.
With his love of sports, he dedicated over 25 plus years to coaching hockey, including his younger brother, his sons, local learn to play hockey program, and multiple high school hockey teams.
We started with a small memorial pickup game shortly after his passing, since we have had the opportunity to donate sticks, free registration to hockey camps/private lessons, host several camps/clinics, hockey bags full of equipment, helmets, college scholarships in coordination with Bauer and USA Ball Hockey, and various other items to local youth hockey players, goalies, and referees.
