About this Event

Shrimporee is a true celebration of all things shrimp, showcasing the culinary diversity of this popular crustacean. From golden-fried shrimp baskets to zesty shrimp ceviche, visitors can enjoy a wide array of delicious shrimp dishes throughout the weekend.

The festival also features live music performances from celebrity Country and Tejano artists, arts and crafts vendors, contests, carnival rides, games, and activities for attendees of all ages.

Whether you are a seafood enthusiast, a music lover, or simply seeking an unforgettable coastal adventure, Shrimporee offers something special for everyone. Join us for a weekend of FUN ON THE COAST!

Thursday, October 15, 2026 Carnival Only
Friday, October 16, 2026: 6 PM – Midnight

Parade
The Annual Shrimporee Parade begins at 10 AM on Saturday, October 17, 2026, on Commercial Street, from Magnolia to Wheeler, in Downtown Aransas Pass.

Shuttles
The Aransas Pass Chamber of Commerce provides free air-conditioned shuttle buses from remote parking sites to the festival grounds for the convenience of Shrimporee guests.

Contests & Entertainment
Shrimporee offers exciting contests and entertainment for all ages, including the Shrimp Eating Contest, Men’s and Women’s Sexy Legs Contests, Mariachis, Belly Dancers, Kidz Zone, Face Painting, Culinary Stage, games, carnival rides, a mechanical bull, Noah’s Way Exotic Petting Zoo, and pony rides.

Shrimporee hosts three stages loaded with entertainment for everyone, including Country Western, Rock, ’80s, and Tejano music.

The Whataburger Family Stage offers a variety of family-friendly entertainment throughout the day, leading up to major evening performances. The H-E-B Main Stage features celebrity Country and Tejano headliners, along with daily entertainment. The Clayton Homes Culinary Stage hosts live cooking demonstrations and tastings all weekend.

All three stages provide non-stop entertainment, appealing to visitors of all ages.

When it comes to shopping and dining, Shrimporee offers 100+ vendors and a large variety of food, from gumbo to funnel cakes — and, of course, SHRIMP! At least 10 nonprofit groups and commercial vendors will be serving a wide variety of delicious foods, with proceeds benefiting area projects and scholarships.
