The Ocean Beach Kite Festival is back for it's 78th year! It's the perfect event for everyone...from kids 0 all the way to 102. Anyone who likes building, designing, flying, and/or watching kites must attend this free community event. Bring your family and friends for a day filled of joy, laughter, and kite-filled skies.
Started in 1948, the Ocean Beach Kite Festival is the oldest children's Kite Festival in the United States. Generations have enjoyed this fabulous, free, family fun.
Join us on Saturday, May 17th between 10 am and 3 pm at Robb Athletic Field (2525 Bacon Street, San Diego, CA 92107).
