76th Annual Shrimporee Parade

The Aransas Pass Chamber of Commerce is inviting your business/organization to participate in the 76th Annual Shrimporee Parade! There's no entry fee, and we're expecting a fantastic showcase of local (and non-local) enthusiasm, impressive floats, and unlimited creativity. Please review the following details carefully for information on how to enter.

The parade is scheduled for Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. on Commercial Street in Downtown Aransas Pass. It will begin at the intersection of E. Maddox Ave. and Commercial Street and conclude at the corner of Commercial and Magnolia Street.

Participants are requested to line up on Stapp Ave., turn right onto Huff, then take a right onto Maddox Avenue for lineup staging - with the parade initiating upon turning left onto Commercial Street.

Event Timeline:

• 8:30 AM - Lineup
• 9:00 AM - Judging Begins
• 10:00 AM - Parade Begins

*We urge everyone to be punctual; lateness may result in disqualification from judging.*

All participants must incorporate decorations that align with either their own theme or reflect elements tied to the Shrimporee festival theme or colors.

Shrimporee Parade Theme: Nautical

Shrimporee Parade Colors: Shades of blue, orange, and silver

Judging categories include:

- Best of Show

- Most Spirited

- Best Decorated Float

- Best Theme

- Best Youth Entry
