The University of Arizona School of Music and AZMBA are proud to host the 72nd Annual University of Arizona Band Day at Arizona Stadium on Saturday, November 1st, 2025.Featuring the finest high school marching bands from across the southwest, ranging in size from 30 to over 250 members, each band is evaluated by a panel of expert judges from around the nation in a number of categories including visual execution, musical presentation, and overall performance.
The Pride of Arizona, under the direction of School of Music professor Chad Shoopman, will also present exhibition performances at the conclusion of the morning and evening sessions. This year’s show features the music of Lady Gaga.
