7 Sisters Folklore Society Presents: SLO County Stumblers!

The SLO County Stumblers are American string band featuring fiddler Casy Meikle, guitarist David Baine, banjo player Daniel Bohlman, and Jerry James on bass.

The Stumblers play hard-driving old time fiddle tunes and spirited songs, heavily influenced by the golden-era string bands of the 1920s and 30s. Their high energy performances are frequently filled with humorous stories and banter.

In the seven years since their formation on the front porch of the Pozo Saloon, the Stumblers quickly found their way into the festival circuit both nationally and internationally with great success.

Although the band has roots on the Central Coast, 2025 finds two members a bit furhter afield. Fiddler, Casy Meikle recently relocated back to his adoptive home of Nasville TN and guitarist, David Baine is based in Los Angeles.

All this is to say, that, desptite their moniker, these boys don't actually play in their namesake County all that often anymore. So, grab those tickets now otherwise you might have to wait until May to see them again at the Parkfield Bluegrass Festival.

This show will be held in the Milking Parlor at the Historic Octagon Barn Center. Doors will open at 6pm with the band beginning at 7. Seating is first come, first served. If you have a unique seating requirement please email and we will do our best to accommodate your request. The Octagon Barn Center is ADA accessible.
