Join Cape Fear Games on July 30th to learn the world's first and longest running trading card game, Magic: The Gathering (MTG). Players take on the role of powerful wizards—known as Planeswalkers—who travel across a fantastical Multiverse to duel one another using custom decks of collectible cards.
Entry Fee: $6
Format: Learn to Play Event
Participation Prize: Welcome Deck
Prizes: Players who sign-up for a Wizards account and download the companion app will receive a pack!
Each participant receives a Welcome Deck to learn with during the event, giving players an easy way to follow along and build confidence as they play. These decks are intended specifically for use during the learn-to-play session and help introduce the fundamentals of Magic in a simple, hands-on way.
AND join us in one week, August 6th, for our Learn to Deck Build event. This event will cover what you need to look for in order to build your very own Magic: The Gathering deck! Whether you are completely new to Magic or just looking for a relaxed way to learn, these "Learn To" sessions offers a welcoming first step into the game.
