The Philosophy Café is a grassroots forum for philosophical discussion.
It offers debates open to all without distinction of origin, gender, level of study, or social class and all subjects can be discussed. The debates aim at a philosophical orientation, the latter being understood as a process of exploring and questioning the meaning of things and life.
The exchanges within the philosophy cafés aim to strengthen the ability to think for oneself in an argued and reflective manner, drawing in particular on existing knowledge. To this end, respectful attention to others and the autonomy of each person constitute fundamental values.
