Turn play into purposeful learning with the Ocean State Card Con 6‑Week Deck Journey - a coach‑led Pokémon TCG enrichment for ages 8–13 (90 minutes/week).
Each child gets their own starter deck - a “starter Pokémon” they’ll learn, bond with, and customize over six weeks. Short lessons and coached matches teach kids to stop, think, explain, and plan: card‑reading fluency, in‑game math, probability thinking, and multi‑turn strategy - all guided by experienced coaches. 🎯🃏
More than cards: kids build patience, reasoning, teamwork, and sportsmanship through team challenges, coached feedback, and weekly skill stamps. Small cohorts let coaches celebrate every breakthrough; each participant earns a completion certificate and a coach summary at course end.
Parent note: up to one parent may sit in on the first class for a brief Q&A and to observe coaching in action.
