RSVP for San Diego's largest and most fun Pet & Military Appreciation event of the year...Traci's Paws 6th Annual Unleash the Holiday Cheer presented by The McBeth Foundation!
Bringing our community together to raise awareness of pet adoption and military appreciation with a FUN pet and kid-friendly holiday festival. Sponsored pet adoption fees for military & veteran families who are approved for a pet adoption with any participating 501c3 rescue, animal shelter, or center!

Since 2016, Traci's Paws has raised a grand total of $517,380.78 for 462 military families, which included holiday gifts and pet adoption fees which have saved over 150 homeless pets, that were united with some of these amazing military families!

MUST READ BEFORE ORDERING TICKETS TO ENSURE YOU ORDER CORRECT TICKETS!
PET COSTUME CONTEST: Both Civilians and Military/Veteran Families and their dependants may enter the Pet Costume Contest. We have Jan Savage and her pup Sit Ruffle von Vicous and Mary Salinas Caraway with her pup Bailey the Poway Yorkey facilitating and judging the contest this year.
All Pet Costume Contest entry tickets are $5 through December 4th, and go up to $10 the day of the event, so order yours early! It is only 1 entry ticket per family, not for each pet in the contest. We will have 3 catagories and an overall Best in Show, with 10 prizes. Most Holiday Cheer, Best Duo (2 pets or 1 pet and 1 human), and Best Family/Group.
CIVILIANS: We will have Welcome Bags with your $5 ticket. These can be ordered ahead of time through December 4th and may be picked up the day of the event. We will have a list with names and how many tickets to give at the Welcome Booth, please bring your ID with the name that you ordered with or a copy of your Eventbrite ticket.
MILITARY/VETERAN FAMILIES & DEPENDENTS: YOU MUST BRING YOUR GOVERNMENT-ISSUED IDs!
If you order a Military Entry Ticket you must show proof of ID at the event in order to receive your Welcome Bag and Military Appreciation Gift Pass**. Welcome Bags for 18 years and up only. Kids will get Gift Bags from Santa. **2021 is different! You gave us feedback and we listened! This year we will have a Military Appreciation Gift Shopping Area! You will take your Pass to the Shopping Tent and pick out 1 item for each member of the family! You will "check out" your gifts with the Traci's Paws Volunteer! You may leave your bag with gifts and pick it up when you leave.
Each Military or Veteran individual and each family member WITH VALID ID will receive 1 Military Appreciation Gift each. If you have a family of 5, you will leave with 5 gifts. If you are a family of 2, you will leave with 2 gifts. You must be present for gifts, sadly we do not have the funding to mail gifts. GIFTS ARE FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED! Come early to get the one you really want!
Each child including civilians will receive a gift bag from Santa in Santa's Village.
If you're interested in the Military sponsored pet adoption you must meet adoption requirements by the participating rescue organization, animal shelter, or center. Subject to limitations on the availability of animals and sponsored adoptions as long as funds are available. The military adoption sponsorship applies to active duty, reserve, and veterans of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, and National Guard, and/or immediate family members. Please bring your photo ID and one of the following to receive the Military Adoption Sponsorship:
• Military ID
• Dependent ID
• Veterans ID
• DD-214 and Driver’s License
• NGB Form 22
From 2016-2020, Traci's Paws has raised $53,858.41 to sponsor pet adoption fees for our local military and veteran community.
***This is a charity event supporting our local rescue organizations and military & veteran community. Sorry, there are no refunds for any tickets available with the event (as they are donations). This event is rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, proper cover and additional tents will be provided.
Sorry, due to San Diego Park Rules and Regulations, we are unable to have smoking or alcoholic beverages on-premises. (There are restaurants with alcohol right across the street.)

Masks are not required for fully vaccinated individuals but are highly recommended.
Please respect our guests and volunteers and plan on not attending if you are sick or have been sick within 14 days of the event date, you experience symptoms such as a fever of 100.4F/38C, cough, sore throat, or loss of taste/smell or have come in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID19.
If you are not fully vaccinated, please wear your mask, wash your hands or use hand sanitizer, and maintain a minimum distance of 6ft from other patrons.
By ordering a ticket, I acknowledge that I am attending an in-person event outdoors during the COVID-19 pandemic, and will release Traci's Paws, Inc. of any and all liability. Complete waiver and release of liability form may be found here.
