The 6th Annual State of Black Illinois Conference is a powerful, full-day hybrid experience that brings together changemakers from across the state to tackle the issues shaping Black communities today—and tomorrow.
This year’s theme, “Empowering Black Voices | Building Black Futures,” reflects a dynamic commitment to equity, innovation, and impact. Whether you're a policymaker, entrepreneur, creative, student, or community leader, this free event offers access to critical conversations and real opportunities for growth.
Attendees will gain insight, make valuable connections, and engage in high-level discussions around:
- Black political leadership and policy priorities
- Small business growth, access to capital, and procurement
- Youth voices on violence prevention and community healing
- Tech, innovation, and the future of Black design
