1. Do you have to be in law enforcement to attend? 

Friends, family, and significant others of active law enforcement officers are all invited to celebrate with us. Retired police officers, current city/county employees who work with the police department, police service techs, dispatch and J*il employees are also cordially invited.

2. What is the dress code?

This is a formal event. Ladies will be in evening gowns. Gentlemen should wear dark suits or tuxedos. Military dress uniforms as well as officer uniforms must follow their department's policies & guidelines.

3. Can I bring my kids?

NO. This is an adult only event.

4. What can I expect?

Cocktail hour/open bar starts at 5pm and appetizers will be served from 5-6:30pm. Dinner will be served at 7pm followed by a speech and tribute, then we will end the night with dancing and entertainment by MBC Entertainment & Hora Loca Dancers. There will also be a photo booth from 6-9:30pm.

5. Is there assigned seating?

No, to ensure your party sits together we recommend purchasing a table, otherwise seating is first come first serve.

5. What are the COVID-19 precautions that will take place?

We want to assure all our first responders, friends, & family can enjoy the gala worry-free and have a great night celebrating all of their hard work these last two years. We hope that our attendees understand that these testing precautions are for their safety along for the safety of the public, as we uphold a large responsibility in hosting this event. It would have detrimental impacts on the county if we had large numbers of our first responders all out of work for 10+ days, due to contracting coronavirus.

Therefore, for the protection of all, each attendee upon checking in will be given a rapid antigen BinaxNOW test to self swab. These tests are pain-free and provide results in 15 minutes. During this waiting period attendees will be asked to wait in their cars. After the 15 mins have passed and they have a negative test result, attendees can proceed to the event space for final check in. Any attendee that produces a positive test will be asked to leave (and a refund will be given).
