6th Annual Hueytown CityFest Music Festival Set to Rock Alabama on June 8th
Hueytown is gearing up for its biggest celebration of the year as the 6th Annual Hueytown Cityfest music festival returns on June 8th, featuring headliners Sister Hazel and Dalton Dover, promising a day filled with exciting performances! Cityfest's musical lineup will also include your favorites: Soul Tide, Logan The Entertainer, Motel Ice Machine, and Tommy Crowder Band, along with local groups and artists.

"Due to the growing popularity of Hueytown's Cityfest, and our headlining talent, we expect our largest attendance yet. This year's festival promises to be the biggest and most exciting one yet," said Jake Ware, President of Hueytown's Art Council.
Performances by The Tommy Crowder Band, Logan the Entertainer, Owen Griffice, Motel Ice Machine, 3 Generations, TeriDona School of Dance and Let's Cheer cheerleaders will perform from 10am to 3pm, followed by the evening performance by Soul Tide and headliners, Sister Hazel and Dalton Dover.
"Music is just the beginning for what Hueytown's Cityfest offers," said Debbie Kiker, President of Hueytown's Chamber of Commerce, "we have local businesses joining in to provide activities for everyone, including a variety of food options and sweets. We will also have many different food trucks, so families can come and make a day or evening of enjoying our music festival and different cuisines."
Hueytown's Cityfest also features a Kid Zone with a barnyard petting zoo featuring goats, lambs and local celebrity, Hank the Camel! There will be several inflatable bounce houses and face painting to keep the little ones entertained throughout the day.
An opening ceremony emceed by Mayor Steve Ware will kick off each session, offering an opportunity to express gratitude to the Hueytown Cityfest sponsors.
"We are so appreciative to our sponsors whose support helps make our festival possible and free to residents and visitors alike," said Mayor Ware, "they include McDonald's owned by Black Family Restaurants, Aux Home Services, American Mini Storage, City Auto Sales-Hueytown, Union State Bank and Alabama Power Foundation."
Parking for the event is accessible, via three designated parking spaces including a VIP parking lot located at Hueytown Intermediate School for $10 per car. A complimentary shuttle will be provided from parking locations at Hueytown Primary School and Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.
