GVA Families! We are excited to welcome you to our school's upcoming Dragon Fun Run Fundraiser. This is our 6th annual fun run and is our largest fundraiser for the school. The Dragon Fun Run is more than a fundraiser- it will be an all student participation activity during school hours that will be fun, promote good fitness, and drive school spirit.We are trying to raise $25,000 towards enhancing our school technology. We can't do it without your help! Students can earn individual, class, and school-wide prizes & events! The best strategy is to help your student start finding sponsors & donors. Check out the parent letter or our website for the full list of prizes your student can earn.

Some highlights are:
- Goal tracking thermometers in real time for the school and classrooms!
- Simple online giving for friends, family, and other donors!
- Parents can check student's donations easily on the "Check my student donations" tab. Use password 'douglas'.
- Students or parents can send out emails to potential donors directly through the website! Personalize the pre-loaded email message on the "Family Resource" tab to let everyone know how to sponsor your student!

On Fun Run day (9/21), your children will run/walk as many laps as they can around the fun track in their 30 minute run slot. The track is 1/16 mile. Students average 25-30 laps with a 50 lap max. You ar welcome to come out and cheer your students on.

Our school goal is $25,000 and we will all enjoy a Foam Party when we reach it! There are several individual and class prizes that your student can earn as well, we hope that you will help and encourage your students to reach their fundraising goals.

Individual goals/prizes are:
Every $100 raised earns a Pick from the Lolli Tree for Cash/Prizes!
$50-99 = Twisty Pencil
$100-499 = Human Hamster Ball @ School
$500+ = Gift Card for Inflatable Rental
Class goals/parties are:
$40 Avg/Student by 9/20 = Pig in the Pig Race. Winning Pig = drawstring backpacks with run logo for the class
$55 Avg/Student = Inflatable Party @ School
$65 Avg/Student = Sandy Candy Party @ School
Top Dollar Class = Human Hamster Ball Party @ School
Top Laps Class = Extra Recess
Best Spirit Class = Glow Party
