TOURNAMENT REVISIONS:
1. NO CHILDS FREE ENTRY
2. NO 4th or 5th Places in the Regular Division
3. A New EZ3 BIG3 POT IS OPEN FOR AN ADDITIONAL $50. Fish Can be entered in both the EZ3 and the BIG3
4. CASH ONLY ENTRIES, We will NO LONGER SUPPLY CASH BACK ON PURCAHSES FOR ENTRY FEES

1 Channel CAT

RULES
Thanks for participating in the SIXTH annual EZ3!! This packet is designed to reduce any confusion, outline rules, codes of conduct and provide structure to the tournament.
1. The EZ3 is a ROD & REEL tournament. Only fish caught in this manner are eligible. NON-GAME methods such as “Limb Lining”, trot lines, & nets are not acceptable.
2. Any live bait used to fish in the tournament must also be caught by legal means.
3. The EZ3 is a four county Neuse River tournament; including Lenoir, Wayne, Johnson, and Craven Counties. Eligible waters include the Neuse River in the listed counties and flowing tributaries thereof. Stick to eligible waters!
4. Only fish brought in alive and healthy will be eligible. Fish that swim funny or do not look normal will not be allowed. Once a fish is brought in and entered, they become the possession of EZ Tackle and will be released alive back into the waters of the Neuse. This is a CPR TOURNAMENT. The big’guns aren’t good eating anyway!
5. Fishermen are eligible to weigh-in a fish 3 days after signing up (72 hours) and not before! They can sign up anytime during the 2 month time frame OR BEFORE. Weigh-ins will be conducted at the shop on any day of the week from 7am – 7pm! Fisherman will “Sign” for the fish at weigh-in.
6. NEW RULE – FISHERMEN ONLY ALLOWED TO BRING IN 5 FISH A DAY PER REGISTERED ANGLER. THIS “5 CARD POKER” RULE WILL MAKE YOU THINK ABOUT THOSE YOU KEEP AND INCREASE FISH SURVIVABILITY!!
7. If a cat is brought in with a stringer through the gills, it will not be weighed! This reduces the likelihood of the fish’s survival. Strung fish must be punched through the bottom lip.
8. TIE-BREAKER rule…. 1st fish caught takes precedence!
9. All participants must possess a valid NC fishing license, and abide by all NC laws. All NC Wildlife resources rules and regulations must be adhered to! All winners will be subject to a polygraph.
10. The EZ Crew reserves the right to refuse any applicants and cats at weigh-in. Any protest at weigh-in must be made 20 minutes after the fish is weighed and in writing. If there is any fighting or arguing over a fish, you will be released from the tournament. Entry fees are non-refundable!
11. Absolutely no anchoring within 100 feet of another boat. Give each other some room!
12. It is agreed that the tournament sponsors will not be held liable for any accidents caused by or to anyone in this tournament, payment of the entry fee constitutes agreement and acceptance of all rules.
13. All decisions made by the EZ Tackle Crew are FINAL!
14. EZ Tackle reserves the right to open any fish and all fisherman are subject to a POLYGRAPH test. Failure to submit to the test will result in disqualification.
15. All participants must sign a code of conduct and disclaimer indicating they have read the rules and will abide by all requirements.
16. EZ3 BIG 3 POT – All rules apply, can be entered anytime. Cat Fish Species Determined by EZ Tackle Staff and NC Wildlife Only.
