A duck derby is a fundraising event where Rubber Ducks race in a Creek or River. Participants can "adopt" a duck for a small donation, and the proceeds benefit a charity.
We use Dry Creek at Elkhorn Blvd bridge and the Ducks float up to Roy Hayer Park. Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd & the Lame Duck Prize for the Duck that crosses the finish line 30 minutes after the winning Duck crosses the finish line.
It is free to watch the Race.
