The rescheduled 6th Annual Blazing Paddles Paddlefest returns to Cleveland's comeback Cuyahoga River with two paddling options. Our site is Rivergate Park/Cleveland Metroparks Merwin's Wharf. To assist our safety operations, we have modified our traditional course, removing the "industrial river segment" from Marathon Bend to Cleveland-Cliffs.Blazing Paddles Paddlefest will also serve as an on-the-water farewell salute to the Eagle Ave. Bridge (Cleveland's first lift bridge (1931)) that will be disassembled over the upcoming winter. Eagle Ave Bridge is part of the unsourced factoid "Within one mile of the Center St. Swing Bridge Cleveland has more bridge designs than any other place in the world."
Registration will reopen on Monday, August 25, 2024
- A relaxed paddle up and down the Cuyahoga River. (6.2 or 12.4 miles)

Parking is not available at Merwin's Wharf before 11 am. There will be a limited number of on-site parking spaces at Cleveland Rowing Foundation. Cleveland Rowing Foundation will charge $20/car and will retain 100% of the proceeds.
