6BLOX
An exciting new fitness competition debuting in Amsterdam on February 16th.
Athletes will compete in pairs across 6BLOX of 10 minutes. Each BLOX begins with a 750m run, followed by using the remaining time to complete as many reps or cals as possible on six unique pieces of equipment. The goal is to jointly accumulate as many reps/cals as possible over the course of the hour.
This partner-based format emphasises teamwork and tactics, challenging athletes to tackle the workout together and test their fitness against others in the city.
The Workout
- The workout is completed in pairs and consists of 6BLOX of 10 minutes, totalling one hour.
- Each BLOX begins with a 750m run and then the rest of the 10 minutes is spent working on a piece of equipment.
- i.e. you run for about 3 - 5 minutes and then spend the rest of the BLOX on the equipment.
- Both partners run 750m, but they do not need to run together, and one can start on the equipment first.
- As a pair, complete as many calories or reps as possible on the designated equipment before the 10 minutes are up.
- While on the equipment you will swap back and forth with your partner to get as many reps or cals as possible.
- At the end of each BLOX, start the next one with another 750m run.
- The final score is the total cals and reps combined across all 6BLOX.
- The faster you run the more time you have on the equipment!

- BLOX 1: 750m run + Ski Erg (Cals)
- BLOX 2: 750m run + Wall Balls (Reps)
- BLOX 3: 750m run + Rowing Erg (Cals)
- BLOX 4: 750m run + Kettle Bell Swings (Reps)
- BLOX 5: 750m run + Bike Erg (Cals)
- BLOX 6: 750m run + Burpees to Plate (Reps)
