Join SMA in Round Rock, Texas for SMA’s 68th Annual Convention & Suppliers' Showcase. This is a unique educational opportunity for meat/food industry executives and managers at all levels, featuring leading experts on a wide range of topics.
The combination of excellent speakers and audience interaction will cover many issues that affect your business. This convention has become a “must attend” for many industry leaders and one that you cannot afford to miss. In addition to the excellent speaker program, the conference features a Suppliers’ Showcase, offering a fun and relaxing opportunity to network with your industry colleagues. NEW to this years Agenda, FSIS will be hosting a Small Plant Roundtable during this years Convention.
Scholarship fundraising has become a huge component to SMA's Annual Convention. In 2023, SMA awarded over $140,000 in scholarships to students. It is SMA's mission to continue to grow and encourage the next generation to get involved in the meat and poultry industry. Our fundraising efforts during the convention include SMA's annual Bob Ondrusek Memorial Golf Tournament, Suppliers' Showcase, and the Friday night dinner and auction.
