You are cordially invited to attend a “Gathering” celebrating the 65th Anniversary of the formation of No. 2MHU.

No. 2MHU was formed on 1st November 1959, the first of the three MHU’s. For 40 years it provided a variety of roles covering operations, intelligence and communications later expanding to medical, regiment, air traffic control and MT.

Many of you will have served, in some of these roles, or had family members who also served.

This will be a “Gathering” to remember the good old days and a chance to meet old comrades and reminisce in an informal atmosphere.

A light buffet will be provided with tea / coffee etc.

I should be grateful if those wishing to attend could let me know by return to allow for catering purposes.

Given many of those who served may have moved on, and we do not have contact details, can you please cascade this invitation accordingly to any personal contact you may have and ask they respond to myself direct, should they also wish to attend.

I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible from 2MHU or 603 Sqn on the day.
