64th Annual Valley City Frog Jump

Join us for the 64th annual Valley City Frog Jump taking place on Sunday July 20th. Hundreds of frogs will be coaxed into jumping for the coveted title of “Grand Champion”. This annual all-day festival takes place at Mill Stream Park (1200 Maple Street) in charming Valley City. All ages from toddlers to retirees gather each year in the park to see whose amphibian (yes toads are also welcomed) can make the longest leap in three successive hops. The frog “jockey” creates antics behind their frog which may include yelling and clapping but no touching to encourage their frog forward. Plenty of fun food vendors and frogs!
