The 63rd Annual UChicago Folk Festival is back in person for 2023 - scheduled for Friday, February 10 at 8 p.m. and Saturday, February 11 at 7:30 p.m. at UChicago's Mandel Hall, 1131 E. 57th Street in Chicago's Hyde Park neighborhood on the UChicago campus. A live stream link will also be available.Enjoy seven bands from a variety of genres - everything from Blues, Bluegrass, Bulgarian Folk, Irish Folk, Louisiana Cajun, Mexican Son Huasteco, and more.
Free music/dance workshops are Saturday, February 11 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. at Ida Noyes Hall, 1212 E. 59th Street. Workshops do not require tickets.
Ticket prices are $30 for regular admission, $20 for seniors, and $5 for students. Group ticket rates of $15 are available for organizations only with 15+ attendees. Tickets now on sale at bit.ly/folktickets.
