The Miss Indian Arizona Scholarship program has participants who represent their federally recognized tribes and enrolled tribal members. Next, participants show their style in evening wear, showcasing traditional regalia complete with an explanation of each piece's cultural context and a traditional talent competition, with judges interviews. participants write an essay on their platform. The Miss Indian Arizona Scholarship Program is sponsored by the Miss Indian Arizona Association (MIAA).
