The 62nd annual Spring Lamb BBQ is back and will be held on Saturday, July 17th, 2021.This event began in 1959 by John Moncovich, along with friends and family to help raise funds for the local chapter of the American Cancer Society. California Giant Berry Farms co-founder, Bill Moncovich, has continued the tradition of his father, and has served as volunteer Chairman of the annual Spring Lamb Barbecue since 1972.
In addition to supporting the American Cancer Society, Spring Lamb also contributes a portion of the proceeds to Watsonville organization Jacob's Heart Children's Cancer Support Services. Founded in 1998, Jacobs Heart provides support to children with cancer and their families throughout Santa Cruz and Monterey County and is run solely on contributions from the community.
This is a cause that means so much to all of us as we remember those we have lost to cancer. We are proud to donate all proceeds to these worthwhile organizations and are writing to ask for your support.
We hope you will consider sponsoring to help us purchase lambs, in addition to attending the all you can eat BBQ, live music and horseshoe tournament.

Payment can be submitted by check, payable to: Spring Lamb BBQ or through the event website.
