Dear Friends of Casket Cinema,This February 6th, the 62nd Annual Ann Arbor Film Festival tour stops at Casket Cinema! Jumping off the cinematic wonder bus will be 83 minutes of the festival’s best experimental and animated works from their 2024 digital program 2. Established in 1963, the Ann Arbor Film Festival is the oldest avant garde and experimental film festival in North America. The six-day festival presents 40 programs with more than 200 artist films from over 20 countries of all lengths and genres, including experimental, animation, documentary, narrative, hybrid, and performance based works. Casket Cinema programmer Mark Wojahn has attended the festival many times and is excited for the best of Ann Arbor to screen in Northeast Minneapolis. Special guests for this Casket will be TBD. They will comment on the tour and talk with audience after the program!

Where: Casket Cinema is located in the art studio of Mark Wojahn. The cinema is in the old Northwestern Casket Building, 681 17th Ave NE #145, Minneapolis, MN 55413, (612)568-3178.
Special guests: MN filmmakers; TBD
Cost: Donation of $10-20 will go to pay the filmmakers.
Please bring friends and BYOB. Admission is usually by donation unless noted.
