About this Event
Come join Silverlake Walk Clubs (BOOK CLUB!). Every month, we will gather to discuss a book. Typically every last Sunday of the month, but I will be out of town at the end of June so we will be heading to Highland Park Brewery to discuss on Thursday 6/18!
(My New Years resolution was to read more books and I'm bringing the walk club through this journey!!)
This month, we will be discussing Cari Burkes book Yesteryear. Whether you have already read it and want to come and discuss with us, or interested in reading come join!
About the book:
The story follows Natalie, who monetizes an idyllic, 19th-century homestead aesthetic on Instagram. When her carefully curated life falls apart and she awakens abruptly in the actual 1800s, she is forced to confront the brutal reality of the pioneer life she was performing for profit.
